  1. Do you want Katy Perry to be included? Not saying she does but bargains can be made.

  3. Thank you! I’ve lived here over24 years. Lots of “stuff” to go through.
  4. Nice shave, Rick. How many shaves can you get on a Ming Shi blade? I haven't tried one yet.

Thanks, Brian. We needed the group hug with everything going on.

That is another beautiful photo, Clint!

Terrific set-up, Mark. I really enjoy the TOBS Jermyn St shave cream scent. I don't have the AS, though. Is that a similar scent and how long does it last?

Glad you had a nice shave @PanChango. I'm curious how many shaves you average per Gem SS. For me it starts tugging bad at #4.

    Terrific set-up, Brian.

I have trouble remembering how long those Schick blades have been in the razor. I leave them in, but I need to start leaving little tags on them so I know how many uses I've had on them or some other system.

    Nice shave, Bruce!

Enjoy your evening with your bride, Neal. We'll try not to disturb you with talk of cookies, revolution or other subversive activities.

  5. Honestly on this blade I lost count. At most I do a two pass shave. With the clog pruf I find I only need 1 pass and a little clean up to be good. I normally swap blades after 6 shaves. I don't get much tugging but the shave doesn't seem to last as long and it is time for a new one. I am sure I could pull a few more out of the blade, but normally don't try.
  6. Thanks @PanChango. I'm glad you're getting at least that many shaves out of them.

  7. December 21

Dorco Pace 3 disposable cartridge razor (1)
    Neutrogena Sensitive Skin shave cream
    Unrefined shea butter

    No decadence here today.
From my Weber I did stray.
    The shave was darn fine
    So please don't malign
    A kit that clears TSA.

    Two passes, and I'm clean
    In four minutes, fifteen.
The blades sliced through the gel
    Like those from the cartel
And now I smell like benzene.

  12. Great looking Fatboy Dan. I have the Nivea Balm as well. I use it more during the winter.

Seems like you have a TSA friendly kit that works for you. :happy088:

  14. Thanks Clint. That's about all I can say for it. It wasn't much fun, but it was a surprisingly good and quick shave, though.

  17. Thank you Charlie. My wife picked this photo from several to use as for a SOTD pic. Maya is usually the one with that duty but she has been busy with Year Book deadlines and Finals.

    DECember 21 SOTD:

    Razorock Plissoft Brush
    La Toja Shave Stick
    Gillette Toggle
    Stirling Unscented PSB
    Brut Classic

Setting 1 this morning, and it was definitely smooth. Not overly close, somewhere between a CCS and DFS. It was definitely comfortable. I had a great lather from the La Toja, so that set things up right. It was a but rushed to get to the class on time, and then the class was fast paced. Tomorrow, I head home. I hope everyone has had a great day.
