Hey all, I’ve been lucky to been given a bunch of different blades to try from generous guys here. I am beginning on settling on a few different blades. I really like the Gillette silver blues, astra platinum and personna platinum. Now it’s a showdown of those 3 once I get my replated fat adjustable back. I’m currently using a slim adjustable. Those are three fine blades. As your technique gets better, you will be able to shave with just about anything.
I’ve noticed I’m gett my really good shaves now. I’m still afraid to go back and try the feather blades again. I got ingrown hair from them. On a side note I was chatting with my wife and showed her a pic of how you made the brushes. She thought it was really cool you hand make them and number them. That is good. I was inspired by a TSD member to make my own brush years ago. After the first three, I was hooked. I have tried to share what I have learned on my blog. It is not rocket surgery, but it is fun and personally rewarding.
