Should one wrap the bricks in lemon first?

I am moving a little slow this morning. I guess that fits with the week between Christmas and New Years. All the hardware and software just works well together. AOS shaving creams are regular Christmas gift from my wife and I find them all to perform very well. This Peppermint cream with its scent and cooling effect has been a real hit. Three passes and touch ups ended in the expected near perfect shave. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

I’m enjoying the blade discussion while pondering the cookie rebellion. Is quelling a full blown revolution as easy as putting a tin of cookies in the mail? Apparently. My biggest disappointment, though, is the fact that we didn’t even get to choose any good revolutionary hats. My second biggest is that we’re almost to January and I don’t have anything to rant about when the thread starts. Maybe I’ll think about it over another cookie...

Great post. Thanks for taking the time. I'm pretty much with you on all points. I find the Slim to less aggressive, only slightly. The Slim also seems to chatter on thicker growth and requires more pressure to smooth it out (BBs too). I've attributed that to the extra weight in the FB. Maneuverability is moot to me as I generally turn any razor vertically and use the end of the blade....that could be blasphemous in these parts, I dunno.

    Good stuff Mr. Neal.

The problem with chatter on thicker growth is one I've never experienced, due to the fact I haven't gone more than two days between shaves within the past year that I am aware of. Something I'll keep in the back of my mind if I ever let it get longer between shaves.

I have that case. A seller on the Bay sent it along with my first NEW LC. Sold the razor as a Tech in the box for super cheap. One of my first major "steals". The box isn't in too bad of shape that I remember. I looked for it this morning to take some pics but I will have to dig a bit to find it when I get home tonight. I'm obviously not using it for anything. It's yours if you want it.

I hope you get to feeling better, Jason. A good shave will help!
    Great set of photos, Dan!
I have not heard of others mention it, I know some other soaps that the lather breaks down in a got scuttle too, but those you can at least get somewhat close to a good lather. Stirling looks like the foam that collect at the bottom of a waterfall.
You will love it, Jim! what knot did you get ?
    Why change perfection?
    Beautiful photo. Clint!
Excellent photo, Mark! Never seen a boar beehive before!
I have a sample of Vanilla Sandalwood waiting in the wings. Sounds like a great pairing to me!

Great mini soap review. Thank you for taking the time to write it up.

If it's working there is no need to change it up.

Great looking brush and photo Mark.

    Very elegant lineup.
