    Sooo. A question to all you adjustable fans. It seems to me most of the reason of an adjustable was marketing. They pointed out you can adjust up and down in a shave and so on. This seems pointless to me. Is there really any reason for the dial?

    Mrs. LOOT had a razor display custom built for me for Christmas. It's stained oak and has 7 slots at each of 4 racks. I've got room to expand...I assume that is a green light to buy more?[​IMG]

    Thanks for the tin, Fuzzy! What kind of coffee? It is from a local companya few hours away called Kicking Horse Coffee. This particular grind is called Kick Ass. You can probably guess where it is on the strength meter...

    Some may find them pointless, but I certainly use mine, often between passes. I won't argue the merits of adjustability but it certainly makes sense in my mind...better yet, on my face.

    My daily driver is a Slim. I started using it t a 3. As my technique improved I preferred more and more aggressive shaves and settled in on a 6. What I like about it is that I can dial it in to what is most comfortable to me without having to settle for a given set up. Do I expect to spin the dial on each shave? No, but I can dial it in to the setting that’s right for me.
