The Timeless 0.95 OC is one very efficient razor. Great way to end the month.

I didn't have much of a focus this month. I enjoyed some great shaves with good gear, and that's really what it's all about, right? I've certainly enjoyed the photos and stories and camaraderie this month as always. As @clint64 pointed out this thread is quite unique in that we can all share experiences about shaving but also about our daily struggles and joys. I never feel that I will be judged here.

I may shave later and I'll post about it if I do. Still moving a little slow after the stomach bug episode a couple of days ago.

Next month will be a blade focus. I got a couple of Proline B20 injector blades from @EzraCobb in an act of generosity and will be getting some more from Andrew's Shave Shop. I'm also getting some Personna injector blades and some GEM PTFE blades. I've tried the Personna and PTFE blades in the past but I'm wondering if my experience and technique will offer anything new when I try them again.

Should I be scared that my eighteen year old daughter wants to make Jell-O shots for us to bring to the party tonight? [Crying/Facepalm]

Disclaimer*** I have to give her credit that at least they are carved out of strawberries, filled with little jello margaritas, the rimmed with salt and fit with a little lime wedge. Answer is still no.

Not a bad idea with the Glacial! I showered and shaved yesterday after getting home and felt like a new man. The Black Hawk mowed down all of those whiskers so easily.

Next time I shave with the huge Stirling brush, I'm going to try to "wrestle the soap to the ground" in loading it. (This quote was attributed to ME by ME).

    Prep: Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Schick
    Razor: Schick L1 injector
    Brush: JR #41 badger
    Lather: Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill
Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill aftershave, Stirling Glacial Unscented balm
    WTG, touch up

Well, @PickledNorthern suggested a glacial shave to finish out the year, and he was spot on. Tremendous way to close 2017. Cold water, cold lather, cold splash, and cold balm. Man, that feels good.

The L1 was a good choice because I was working on less than 24 hours of growth. It's a mild razor and did its job admirably. This #41 badger from Jayaruh is one of my favorite brushes.

    All around top notch.

I wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR! It's been great sharing these experiences with you.
