  1. My January Focus will be to see if an actual rotation could work. The winters are long here(MA), so it's a challenge worth pursuing. For instance, I thought about a "4 days for Soaps, 3 for Creams/Foams".
  2. Thank you, Mark!
  3. Excellent picture, Jason!
  4. I used the same logic last year, and it worked until February, I think. Good luck with NB18!
  5. Thank you, Jason!
  6. Razor: Gillette Aristocrat 1947 (Birth Year)
    Blade: Personna Platinum (5)
    Brush: El Druida Barberpole w/Manchurian

    A/S: Lucky Tiger
    Bowl: Junichi Tanaka Artisanal Scuttle

  7. Doug, it is cold enough down here is SE Texas! Your pictures are adding to the chill! Great shot!
  8. Nice choice! I like seeing the Barbershop brush sticking out of the snow. Turkish Bath is their(Jeeves)barbershop fragrance, right?
  9. Thank you, Jim!

Beautiful shot, Doug! I'll use Turkish Bath tomorrow as well.
  10. Thank you Jason!
I'm not fussing or even complaining, but seeking clarification. I assumed a "Pain Stick" was a kamisori style shavette. Dose it also include SR style with folding scales? Have I been a member of BOPS all along?
  11. Thanks very much Paul. I believe Turkish Bath is Jeeves barbershop.
  12. Great photo and lineup.

Wow that is one interesting razor.

Seville is a wonderful take on the classic babershop scent.

Great lineup and picture Perry. You can also cut the Artist Club blades to length and use them in injector razors as well.

Great photo Mark. Love the brush.

    Great photo and lineup Jason.

Wow. I am freezing here. I can't imagine how cold it was to take that photo. I am not worthy.
  13. :thanks: Perry.

  14. Thank you Clint. It wasn't really that cold. :)
  15. :thanks: Jim.
  16. Thanks, Clint! I had forgotten about that. If memory serves correctly I tried it once but didn't have good enough shears to make a clean cut. That would certainly open the doors for more blade options though. The good thing is I like the standard Schick blades pretty well.
  17. I’m not sure. I thought just the kami style as well, but Jim called his folding shavette a pain stick in his write up. There has been blood spilt, so the name is apt!
  18. Thank you Clint!

  19. Did the other 3 people in the audience enjoy it? :happy102:
  20. Beautiful stuff, Doug. Did you have that razor sheath made for the Aristocrat?
