I will probably decide to keep both, they both easily produce fine edges.

Out of focus:

No time this morning for a straight and I wanted to try a gift from my Secret Santa, Williams Mug Shaving Soap. The Williams performed wonderfully, not as wet as I would like for a straight but great for DE, slick and allot cushion. The Joris is one of my favourite razors and loaded it with Gillette 7 O'clock Blue. Nice shave.

Thanks. I think Speick is as good or better than any cream I have used, but there aren’t very many of them to compare to. TOBS, Trumpers, Musgo... That may be it. It gives a great, smooth shave. I had a tube of it once before, and was convinced that it smelled exactly like Desitin. I decided to give it another try, and am finding it to be piney and spicy, and something. Whatever something is, I like it.

Sorry for the abruptly ending post. I was so beat last night after work that I fell asleep on the couch in the hotel, in the middle of typing while I ate my supper. I found it like that this morning when I got up.

Have you tried the Palmolive Cream? I find the Menthol version simply outstanding.
