I've not succumbed to any soap temptations either. But I have started eyeing some brushes. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
This reminds me of "The Contest" on Seinfeld. I hope everyone is Master of their Shave Den Domain in 2018!
I'm in if you can overlook the Vision I committed to buying, but cannot pay for until the end if the month, and the Rockwell Model T I paid for last year. I won't be buying any software or brushes.
Still on-board and working thru my excessive stock of creams and soaps. Not sure I'm looking forward to later on this year when I've exhausted my stock of favorite software and have to start working thru my more questionable purchases...
Pretty soon(possibly with next couple of shaves, when I bring it up next))I'll be getting rid of one soap-Rte 66. Well, that was expected to happen early, anyway. I still have a solid arsenal.
Purchases or contracts to purchase made in 2017 do not count against a No Buy 2018 even if the final part of the deal happens in 2018 -- it's old business. Especially the Model T which was supposed to be delivered in 2017 but suffered manufacturing delays. (I think I paid for mine in 2016...)
I just solved one eventual problem pertaining to my NB18-when my Russian Leather A.S. runs out, I'll just get Aqua Velva Musk at CVS. They aren't that different in overall fragrance and feel-it's just that Russian Leather has that "Russian" way about itself. Counts as a "replacement", I'd say.
Hard to believe, but I’m still in. I’ve been avoiding threads like “The Haul “ and “What Are You Waiting On To Arrive”. I’m also limiting my eBay time. Too tempting.
I fell off the wagon ... Phil the owner of Bullgoose Shaving found one brand new Paradigm 17-4 stainless razor he had misplaced in his store and listed it for sale on his website .. someone posted a heads up that there was 1 listed in stock and i couldn't help myself. I was wanting to get one back before Christmas but they sold out as Paradigm only made 150 of them .... maybe NB '19
