Now you've gone and brought up my pet peeve- the term "organic". Of course, it is organic rice... it's not made of silicon (which would make it inorganic rice).

I'm just saying, knowing what I know when it comes to farming, the word "organic" is a VERY loose term. What they lead the public to believe and what really goes on behind the scenes are two different things. I've seen it. All they have to do is meet government standards. Doesn't mean it's truly organic in the sense they want you to believe. If you want "organic", your best bet is to buy fresh from a farmers market or a roadside stand and even then, I have questions about those. Not trying to be condescending, I just know what I know. In my mind, in the commercial market, there is no such thing as true organic.
