Is there a side to put the blades?

Hello, I am new to wet shaving and I have a (probably) silly question:

Is there a side you should put your blade in the razor?

I am using Astra platinum blades fwiw.

The short answer is no, it doesn't matter which side is facing up. Many blades will have numbers on them, but that is a quality control check from the factory. If they determine the blades are not up to standard they can check the number at the problem spot and know where to address the problem.
