Back to the theme with the Feather SS and Jeeves. Used the JR46 to get an incredible lather in an incredibly short time and ready to go to work. The Feather Pro blade really provides a sharp and close shave. Two passes and it's a very nice DFS and that's fine for the night. Alum was quiet so all good there.

Still waiting on the Jeeves samples. Should be in the house tomorrow or Wednesday. I'm looking forward to trying the rest of the scents. I did get my latest shipment from Stirling, mainly stuff for my wife but I picked up a puck of Iced Coffee soap. Very nice scent to it. It has the scent of a fine Starbuck's coffee, something like Gold Coast with cream. And it's a mentholized soap, hence the ice! I'll give it a try in the not too distant future.

RAZOR: BOSS 3 Piece Extra Heavyweight - All Metal Textured Safety Razor Long Handle (4 inch handle, 4.8 ounces)
BLADE: Dorco Platinum ST-300 - 9th use of this blade.
PREP: hot water face wash with Ivory soap
PRE SHAVE: used bloom water on face - nice scent but not very slick
BRUSH: Fendrihan Synthetic Brush - black "tuxedo" knot
SOAP: Erasmic Shave Stick - this is my 6th go around with this soap - disappointed
Hot water rinse followed by application of CRYSTAL deodorant (deodorant stone - potassium alum)
AFTER SHAVE: Pinaud Virgin Island Bay Rum
BALM: None

Got a fine 2-pass DFS (BBS on cheeks and chin), but not happy with the Erasmic lather even though I love the scent.
The Fendrihan brush did a yeoman's job at improving the lather, but the Erasmic was still thin and dissipated quickly.
NOT COOL!
NO WAY I WAS GOING TO TRY TOUCHUPS TO GET BBS WITH THIS LATHER.
I need to figure out how to improve this soap. I may just try it as a pre-shave for one of my shave creams. Don't know.

Aftershave - I LOVE IT! Virgin Island Bay Rum gave me a GREAT finish to a mediocre shave!

Great shave tonight. I did half my face with a personna and the other with a feather. It was an experience for sure . Bbs smooth with minor razor burn in the sensitive areas.
