You shave where ever and how ever you can. As to do I set when I shave, No. I couldn't get close enough to the mirror & sink that way.
I have done the camping table shave. Works just fine. I think it is easier to shave standing though. I would not worry about my man card if I sat to shave though.
I find that men who don't worry about their man card are usually the men who no one would dream of questioning about their manhood... Worrying about how manly you look just seems to come off as insecure and borderline pathetic.
Well I thought about this and I sat and shaved today. It does give a better platform to shave. It felt strange at fIrst but it was more relaxing strange but not bad. Like the saying goes don't knock it until you try it.
Maybe, but one doesn't need hot water to make *shudder* cold brew coffee. I fail to understand the correlation @Arnout is making between saving energy by shaving cold and having more coffee.
Have never sat down to shave nor have i once ever thought about it until now .. besides a physical limitation which would not allow one to stand and shave at a sink with a mirror in front of your face .. i find it just not a proper thing to do, kind of like this
I think how you stand or sit while shaving must be one of the least interesting things in life. -- Pitralon forever - Real pens have a nib - If it doesn't tick, it's not a watch.
Back when I lived in a house where the bathrooms were the size of my current living room that would have been a great idea. Unfortunately my current bathroom is about the size of the Young Man from Boston's little red Austin.
I'm a disability myself and I sit down mostly while I'm shaving at the Kitchen table and not in the bathroom, I can shave while I'm standing in the bedroom alright sometime I loose my balance from time to time which is normal. So there is nothing wrong sitting down having a shaving because is very relaxing and very safe, as long as you've got all your gear ready to go before shaving otherwise you get caught if you forget.
