Le Grelot 5/8 A really great blade on this one, after a small chip was honed out of the bevel. A little menthol to celebrate the warm up since the temperature went above 30deg.

Is there such a thing as Filly Tuesday?!?!?!
    Razor: Filarmonica Doble Temple 14
    Brush: Razorock Extra Chubby Silvertip
    Soap: SV Felce Aromatica
    A/S: Razorock XX
This Filly was for the South American market. No gold wash and I believe that was intentional. There is an etching for “El Fauno” and an address in Buenos Aires on the blade face. Also has a number set of 22-75, which 1975 would match the 2nd generation timing.
    Love the shave.

I think you have a razor that should be fun and will give you a chance to try quite a few things out. Maybe start a restoration thread so we can watch the journey and help out if needed. When I start to restore a razor, I like to think about what I want in the end- user grade shaver or super polished piece (rarely want to do that much work :)). I also make a decision on taking it apart... which lets you practice pinning.

    Totally on same page...
I marked up your pictures to show what taking care of the heel would look like.

Shows the frown that would cause you trouble during honing, as the frown would not touch the stone when laying flat.
You could work around but correcting it is better.

Looking up the term bread knifing will help in getting rid of the frown. Basically, you want to be able to put the razor perpendicular on a hone and see no light between the razor's edge and hone. The goofy yellow/orange color may show that the rear stabilizers will need to be sanded down so it lays flat while honing.
This stuff will help you set a bevel, which guarantees any future work is on a razor that will shave. :eatdrink047:
