Rod George can do it!!! He made me a really nice one for my streamline Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
I've made a few for the Gem Lather Catcher. They also fit the ER lather catcher and ER14 little lather catcher.
Because I have a really nice looking GEM Jr head but the handle is in really bad shape. If mine looked like the one above I wouldn't be looking.
Those match up with the Gem and ER lather catchers. It is a #9 stainless steel sheet metal screw. I looked a long time to find the size that would fit. Oh, I just remembered something I did two years ago. It involved a center punch and 10-32 screw. Not all Gems have the same threads, but this one works on this 1912 and my 1924 Shovelhead. Brass Punch Handle, The Continuing Story Saturday, February 28, 2015 http://jrshaving.blogspot.com/2015/02/brass-punch-handle-continuing-story.html Two weeks ago, I got this brass center punch and converted it to a razor handle (original post). Today, I took it a step further. I got some 10-32 screws and cut one to about 1/2 inch. I used it to join the handle to a GEM 1912 razor head. It will also fit select pre-1930 GEM/Ever-Ready razor heads. I tried the Ever-Ready 1914, but it takes a smaller screw. Wow. It's almost alien looking. "The GEM From Space" sounds like a bad 1950's sci-fi movie. Nah, actually looks really nice. Herm
Thanks for the correction. I know that whoever got one of my handles, the handle fit. I was glad for that.
