Testing direct image linking with Google

Already have one! But if anyone is looking at an SE razor the Featherweight is a great introduction to the GEM style.

I just figured out how to post images from Google Drive if that helps...

I have tried repeatedly over the past couple of years to direct link my google photos without success. I guess that means that they really don't want to provide directly linking. When I post photos now, I reduce them to 800x600 and then upload them to the forum. That way the links are never broken!

Copy to shared album, view image in shared album, right click, copy image link?

 

This is what I did to post the image. It only shows up if you ate logged into a Google account in the browser instance

 

I can't see your images in an incognito/private window, but this one (my cannibal food test image)
