Pre: Warm water face wash Brush: Semogue 1470 Boar Soap: Stirling Sandalwood Razor: Cobra Classic Blade: Feather Pro Post: Warm then cold water rinse, Stirling Sandalwood PSB I was curious to see how smooth the combination of Cobra/Feather was on less than 24hrs growth. With the slickness and cushion of Stirling as the Cobra's ally, the stubble stood no chance and my skin feels smooth and soft. Have a great weekend everyone.

Aftershave: Witch hazel/Nivea face cream topped off with Canoe EDT & EDC A day and a half worth of scruff turned into bbs. This Flic ( like most Solingen Straights) has an exceptional edge and hold it well. On that note: the other Flic is on deck for tomorrow Enjoy your weekend, gentlemen!

13 January 2018 A "classical" shave to be sure! A two pass, minor touch-up, BBS shave this morning. Soap: RazoRock Classic - yummy marzipan scent coupled with great performance and post shave feel Brush: Omega 10086 boar - love these little guys for travel and for starting full tubs of soap Razor: RazoRock German 37 slant - has to be one of the best bang for the buck slants available Blade: Polsilver Super Iridium (3) - fast becoming a top blade in my rotation Aftershave: Pinaud Clubman - a classic in it's own right

Prep: Hot towel Pre shave: Prep Razor: Barbaros TR-1 Blade: Astra S/P Brush: 'The Duke' (Duke 3 Best) Soap: Grooming Dept: Mallard Post: Cold water rinse / Witch Hazel / Tallow + Steel: Dark Aftershave Well, Mallard lived up to the hype, and provided the base for an outstanding shave with the TR-1, a razor that I find to be on the aggressive side of the tracks... BBS, and feeling fine.
This Rockwell soap which my father-in-law bought me is fantastic - what a beautiful barbershoppy, old-school scent it has and does it ever lather like a champ. It doesn't have quite the moisturizing that a Stirling soap has but I'd still rate it as a 7/10 so it's fairly decent that way. It's made in Toronto, Ontario so it's another Canadian product that I never knew about until yesterday. The Booster Polar Ice aftershave felt so good - no menthol effect, but who cares. Now I smell like an old barber much to my wife's chagrin. This shave was BBS and so enjoyable! Have a great day!
