Quick, cheap, easy. Plastic breath mint tub with snap top. Holds a lot of blades.

When it's full, duct tape for safety and toss it.

The mini Altoids tins are the perfect size. Also there are plenty of Antique ceramic ones floating around that can be had for a few dollars each. I'm waiting on some Listerine Frog Blade Banks to arrive that look like this:

Here is another idea I just thought of... This would only be good for those with a Dremel tool or equivalent that would allow them to cut a slot in sheet metal...

So the use of Talc after shaving had been more prevalent, and Talc was sold in some attractive tins to match whatever After Shave you also had. If you are one to use and/or display vintage After Shave then maybe a modified vintage Talc Tin with a slot in the back would fit right in. Based on the size I guess the could probably hold nearly a decade or more worth of blades. Plus since there had been so many made and not very sought after they can be had for pretty cheap.

An empty vitamin jar also works well.

I use a tall flip top pharmacy bottle, slit cut through lid. Top glued shut.

Another vote for the ol' vitamin bottle.

Cheap children's banks can also be found in all shapes and sizes at your local dollar store.

Here's mine. Any good shaped plastic bottle could be repurposed with a blade and some glue.

I use an Olfa blade disposal case. Had it for a long time and never used it for safety blades.

Not original, but it works well.

I just went to Sally's Beauty Supply and bought a sharps container. That way I can use it for all the various sharp bits of metal I come up with.

Oh - one customer has told me that as they do more house renovations, if he runs across a medicine cabinet with one of those slots, he'll save it for me.
