I don't think this shave could have been any smoother or any colder because I'm absolutely BBS and the Glacial Black Cherry soap felt borderline-painful in terms of menthol strength. Its lovely scent filled the bathroom and it lathered beautifully with great blade glide, which is so typical of Rod's soaps. The Glacial Unscented balm continued the freeze while moisturizing my skin and the Arctique brought on its own freeze which is lethal along with its awesome scent and a soothing feeling! 15 January 2018 Same terrific line-up for 3 days in a row. Fifth shave with the Polsilver SI. Two pass, minor touch-up, BBS shave. Even though the hardware & software involved in these 3 (so far!) shaves are not considered top shelf, except the blade, I am getting fantastic results with little effort. If something is working for me this well, I have to keep using it. Not that I'll toss everything else........................ Another shave with the Lund. I’m getting more familiar with my yellow/green Thuri and I wanted to see how a few more minutes on the stone would impact it. Pretty much in the sweet spot now - another half notch sharper and smooth.
