I’m a 4 pass shaver too. Even used Williams for a 4 pass shave, no problems.

    Thank you, Dan!

I grew up in the mountains, where it didn't get quite as cold as what you have, but it got cold. 30 degrees was shorts weather for some (I personally stuck to long pants those days). Definitely different around here. My wife took the dog on a walk last night, and it was about 45 degrees out there. She wore a heavy coat, gloves, and a scarf. I had to ask her if she had plans on running away. She is from Puerto Rico, though.

Thank you Clint. I did do the resort myself, back when I actually had time to do stuff like that. I am not really a fan of the knot though, it is far to floppy for my tastes. I would pull it and set it deeper if I could only get free, but it wont budge even though I set it in silicone.
There just something about restoring and using something that time forgot that really appeals to me.
Awesome photo, Dan. Congrats on more and more shavette shaves ending without blood.
    Stay warm, Jared!
I will be watching to see if that puck of Williams go flying out the window!
Awsome photo, Jim. Congrats om burying "The Fat"!
Awesome shot, Clint! That tub of soap is on the express lane outta here!
Let the haters hate! It doesn't get much better then Tabac and Stetson!
    Awesome shot, Mark!

Hmmmmm. Maybe putting a puck of Williams under the clutch and holding down hard will do the trick.

That's an Inspired Shave Idea! I don't have Stetson, but I think someone mentioned Avon's Wild Country is their knockoff. Time to go sniff some products.

I saw som,e Stetson in the glass cabinet at CVS this morning. Probably the regular one though(not Cooling Moisture).

I got busy this weekend, and haven't had time to check the thread. And I now have almost 400 posts to read. Forgive me if I don't comment on all the amazing pictures I am going to see. I last shaved on Sunday night. I used a razor I have in my to sell pile. New rule, not going to use a razor I have decided to sell. This one is so smooth and comfortable to use that I am keeping it. Brian Brown 8/8 razor, Great Grandpa's brush, Twisted Tweed Route 66 soap (a Christmas gift from @wristwatchb in 2016,) and Draagon Noir aftershave. I think I may have finally hit a point where I added too many menthol crystals to an aftershave. This one kind of hurt. Going to try it a few more times before I decide if I need to water it down. Overall, it was a three pass BBS shave with silent alum. This is what I shoot for.

Adam, it's a beautiful razor, and worthy of keeping.
    Nice setup, Doug!

The brush turned out great. Maybe try soaking the entire thing in very hot tap water. Maybe that will loosen up the silicon.

Thank you Andrew. The container is showing through in center so the soap should be done soon.

I take that as a compliment. "The Gulch abides. And I don't know about you, but I take comfort in that."
