It's a Damaskeene?

 

Waiting on a GEM G bar. Looks like a beautiful razor and can't wait to give it a try.

Hopefully there was no problems with shipping, since it arrived in my area then went back to the east coast, but the last update said it is back in Detroit so hopefully it arrives in a few days.

I'm really not sure, no description really. It does look like a 1912, and don't know a whole lot about them. Except that my 1912 does give good shaves. But going just by the handle, it might be a Damaskeene.

 

I bet it is. I will be looking forward to how it works for you. The ER though.... You are in for a treet.

 

I might now have a slight dilemma. At first, I just wanted the blade bank to use in my Gem 1912 case, which is nickel plated. But since chances are it is a Dameskeene, I'll need another Gem blade bank and one for the ER as I will work on fixing the cases. The seller didn't mention about any external damage, so hopefully no problems there. And my ER 1914 Little Lather Catcher will need a case. Looks like I'll be spending a little more cash, oh well.

 

Update from the seller: He combined the shipping, total now for both is $7.11, sweet.............

That's awesome maybe the seller has an extra blade bank to drop in the box before they ship it.

 

Was waiting but it arrived today, tracking showed tomorrow but mailman was out delivering Priority Mail packages today even though it is a holiday ... what a pleasant surprise!

 

A cased Gem Glog Pruf and Damaskeene case with blade bank. Other razor is one of those no name cheap ones that pop up from time to time. $8.00 plus priority shipping, not bad......
