Thanks, Fuzzy. Until I got my 30DC LE, it was my go to brush. It’s a beat up Dubl Duck M-2 with a well used knot from an Omega 10066. I’ve used this one enough that it’s softer than a lot of badger knots.

Nice. I have a double duck #5 with a high loft boar. I really think I need to put a lower loft boar in it. A well broke in boar is a thing of beauty!!!

    Prep: Cold water
    Blade: Personna
    Razor: Schick G4 '66' injector
    Brush: Surrey badger
Soap: Jeeves of Hudson Street Turkish Bath
Post: Witch hazel, TSD Iced Barber Shoppe aftershave
    WTG

Quick and easy one pass shave after a close shave yesterday afternoon. Jeeves is some terrific soap. The new Personna blade worked quite well with the Schick 66. It's been fun to try some blades with these razors this month.

School was closed again today and I'm scheduled to attend a conference in town. But our little boy has a runny nose and couldn't go to Mother's Day Out, so I'm at home for a little while watching him so my wife can go run some errands. I'll get down to the conference this afternoon. Won't miss much honestly.

    Have a great day!

Great looking brush Mark. I checked out the website and he makes some really nice looking brushes.

Great B&W Photo Perry. I hope your son is feeling better soon.

Went back to my raffle prize winner, the short-handled Black Beauty. Another first time soap earlier this morning (there are reasons why I’m doing a ‘NB 18- I have stuff I’m not even getting to...), the Mudder Focker. This soap came via a trade (really a PIF until I get off my arse and get stuff turned...) and is my first use of any razorock soaps. I whipped up a great looking lather, but I can’t comment on the scent as my nose is completely plugged this morning.
My only complaint is that the razor didn’t glide very well over this soap. I’ll try to get it slicker next time. No issues post shave with dryness or feel.
Finished with the Barbershop, which did penetrate my schnoze a bit.
    Have a great day all!

Thank you, Clint! He's still moving around at 100mph. He's a busy kid. You just have to run after him with kleenex! :sport026:

Great looking lineup and photo Jason. I am sure you will get the soap dialed in shortly. I hope you are feeling better soon.

Love the Gentleman. I also take mine on the road, as it isn’t my wife’s fave.
Some great looking set ups there, Keith.
Sounds like way too much work without enough benefit to getting it right.
    Great set up, Mark.
The Jeeves is certainly top tier soap, Gentlemen!
