Im still a fairly young tike around these parts, but the lingo gets me. For example "fam" "dat" "thot" "bae"..... the list goes on. Sure humans have abbreviated things for many years, but at least use an abbreviation for something that doesnt take 30 minutes to figure out.....
Oh wow the list is extensive. 1. Men in tight jeans and long dress length T shirts Not a good look for any male frame 2. Nasty bushy beards especially when combined with number 1. 3. Sagging pants it’s been 25 years already can this trend just die no one wants to see that. Seriously 10/10 people aren’t interested 4. The bro look Khaki shorts with a long sleeve dress shirt and boat shoes with long socks 5. Cuffed pant legs and joggers 6. Tapout shirts or Ed Hardy or affliction we get it you work out. On a side note I’m only 32 but I think I’m getting old or I just have some class either way I view style as a costume for the parts people want to play in their word and I can’t figure out why anyone would want to play these parts. DO NOT EVEN GET ME STARTED I AM A SALTY GENERALLY PISSED OFF MARINE AND WHEN I HEAR THAT GARBAGE I WANT TO SMACK SOMEONES MOTHER.....
To cover your shirt buttons, I can’t think of any other reason. This is the reason I enjoy the smell of Arko. Been there, did that, wasn’t caught, very fun.
These were originally for kids who needed something to manipulate. Usually kids on the autism spectrum or adhd. I’m not too sure why they became so popular with everyone lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sounds kinda like what my dad called a CB fox hunt from the early '70s. The "fox" gave a clue and was driving around town while the "hounds" coordinated by CB to catch him. That sounds fun.
I lived through the mullet and the rattail in college without succumbing to either. Around that same time, I planned to have one ear pierced (which one you chose was important - "left is right"). I casually mentioned this to my Dad who stated I would no longer be receiving any more tuition assistance (or anything else for that matter) if I came home and he found a hole or mark on my ear. He wasn't kidding. Despite him being a bit over the top on this one (and probably right), I found it to be and a somewhat unfair but very effective method of persuasion).
Forgot about the pants. The MC hammer look in the 80s. A particularly bad look for white bread white boys. Moreso when combined with a sweater vest, which was also in fashion at the time.
For those who can't grow one or who don't want to commit just yet, allow me to introduce the mullet hat.
How about glasses as a fashion accessory. I wear them as prescribed. If I didn’t need them I definitely wouldn’t wear fake ones lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Or the glasses that aren't really glasses but have shades/louvers on the front. Anybody figure out what those are about?
