Star 1912 style razor Gem Stainless blade Schick M1 Adjustable razor Personna blade JR #85 brush Palmolive Mentholated SC Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Colorado Sage cologne The Gem blade gave out 1/2 thru the shave so grabbed the M1 to do the second pass with and everything turned out fine. Knew the Gem was going but thought I could get thru the shave. Guessed wrong. Oh well, all turned out well. Now I'm off to get a massage and I'm really looking forward to it. Now go enjoy your day folks

Hi folks, for today's SOTD I dug out a Gillette #77 set two piece RFB New lc. Blade was an unusual find. It only has an O designation on it. It is a Gillette Blue Blade. I have heard of these, but I never ran across one before. I don't know anything about them except there is no quarter year number indicator on it. I believe it is a WWII era blade. Here's the photo- If anyone is interested in the blade I will post photos later. This shave was a two pass BBS! Have a great day all! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Razor - Gillette President Blade - Bic brush - Jayaruh no99 Soap - stubble trubble - praying mintis Post - lavender witch hazel A/S - lime Sec Shave was good this morning. The blade and razor combo was not a good one for me a it didn’t seem as sharp as a Dorco or derby blade. I still have some stubble here and there but for the most part I’m good.
SHAVE OF THE DAY Prep: Musgo Real Oakmoss Razor: GEM G-bar Blade: Blue Star Brush: Maggard 28mm synthetic Soap: Local Gent Kona Colada Post: Local Gent Anubis balm Nice smooth shave this afternoon. The scent of Kona Colada really opens up once lathered, the coffee blends well with the coconut. Great residual slickness made it so the final pass was accomplished with a thin layer of leftover lather. Local Gent's balms are incredible, glass bottle and the balm is pretty thick so only a dab is needed. Face feels smooth and refreshed. Hope everyone had a great shave!
Pre: Warm water face wash Brush: EJ Medium BB Soap: Wickham's Irish Fern Razor: Cobra Classic Blade: Feather Pro Post: Warm then cold water rinse,Vitamin E Oil, Pinaud Clubman What a great way to end the week. Skin's feeling smooth and smelling powdery and floral
Lol that's funny, I also have seen Weird Al in concert twice. He puts on a great live show. He even put on the fat suit for the parody of Michael Jacksons "Bad". Had some Dr. Demento cassettes as a kid and love the parody/ comedy music.
Yea I saw you were running thru your tub of Fields & Streams which is a great scent. If you haven't tried their balms I highly suggest trying some. Rob also makes some cool looking brushes as well.
SOTD 1/19/2018 RAZOR: Drug Mart CALIBER 5 Pivot Razor (disposable) - Personna/Schick Wilkinson Sword BLADE: FIVE (*compare to Gillette Fusion 5 Blade razor) - this was my 10th shave with this razor. BRUSH: NO - applied by hand PREP: hot water shower with Nourish Cool Cucumber Green Tea Moisturizing Soap, followed by hot water rinse PRE SHAVE: Rite Aid Renewal Cold Cream SHAVE CREAM: Barbasol Original POST SHAVE: Hot water rinse AFTER SHAVE: VIBR (not pictured) BALM: Gillette After Shave Gel (not pictured) Very efficient shave today - 1-pass DFS (almost BBS except for the touch-up areas that I didn't). I love the protection and slickness of Barbasol, but it tends to leave me with dry, taught skin after the shave. (Wintertime) I tried cold cream as a pre-shave in combo with the Barby to see if it would leave me with a better face feel. SUCCESS! Great finish with Pinaud & Gillette products. Have a great weekend.
Saturday morning's fun: Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Astra day 6 Stirling Margaritas in the Arctic SS Lucky Tiger AS Cream Reef Point Fougere Santal AS Splash Hey, it's been too long that I've stayed away from my Stirling soaps so it's time to go back to them. The MITA's delightful scent, rich, slick lather, and that wonderful chill has me impatient now. I get so much great post-shave care from the Lucky Tiger balm and that Fougere Santal aftershave will guarantee me lots of big kisses from my beautiful wife!
