I have this double VHS tape of: Allen Quartermain & The Lost City Of Gold- it has James Earl Jones, Sharron Stone, and the oriental man from the original Manchurian Canadate. It is like a discount Indiana Jones but it's a great film. Firewalker- this one has Chuck Norris as the main characher. Not as good as the other movie but it is a cool VHS set. Joe's Apartment- this was a MTV movie about a kid that moves in a slum with talking cockroaches. Good anamation and just a fun movie. Dark City- this is a movie along similar lines of The Matrix. Stars Keefer Sutherland and is a really cool flick. They Live- stars the wrestler Rowdy "roddie" Piper and directed by John Carpenter. The plot is about people living among us that look like people but when using special sunglasses it is revealed they are aliens/ robots using a satellite to conceal their identity. They were people like the president and "high society". Stephen King's The Stand- this movie is not really underground or unheard of, but I don't think it gets the attention it deserves. Long list of famous casting: Molly Ringwald, Gary Sinse, Kareem Abdoul Bajar (probably mispelled). It's about a virus released airborne that kills about 95% of the human population. One of my favorite films of all time, but it is incredibly long although it is broken into parts. The Sting- older film staring Robert Redford and Paul Newman. Excellent plot about a scheme to fix a fake horse race. It is fast paced that keeps your attention, and a well thought out film.
Lol I was going to mention Killer Clown From Outer Space before I saw your post. This movie is so cheesy it is actually decent. It's funny seeing the Dean from Animal House as the sherrif. There was rumors about a sequel but doubt it will happen. It was a flop in the box office but became a cult classic.
oooh. One of my favourite movies was an HBO special. To Cast A Deadly Spell, with Fred Ward. Unfortunately, the sequel didn't include him as the lead character. It's basically a rip-off of Heinlein's "Magic, Inc", in theme.
I thought this one was brought up, but I guess not ... "The Player" Surprisingly good with a great twist.
At first I thought you were speaking of the mineral That is found in vast quantities near by my residence.
