Another Wonderfully slick shave from a Chinese Razor. I had a smooth 2 pass shave, that left me with a Near BBS shave. Some of these Chinese razors, are real contenders. Excellent steel, and good quality workmanship. Dirt cheap too.

XXX kind of SOTD!
The RazoRock XXX line is my favorite, the new Game Changer is just that, 4 days of growth was no problem.
Cold River Soap Works Jeff's Soap is AMAZING. If you haven't already tried CRSW you owe it to yourself, great product, great prices, great customer service and shop owner.

I stayed with the Feather Pro but went back to the heavier OSS handle to try and get the best out of the Mongoose.
Well I remain unconvinced, I still haven't had a shave as enjoyable to the ones I get from the General.
The end result is the same but more effort and pick ups are required on the jawline and neck of all places, not usually my problem areas.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Derby Stick Shave Soap face-lathered well with the JR #217 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the J.A. Henckels Rapide razor with a J.A. Henckels wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

The LQV Soap is really good! Glad to finally have the match for the Aftershave. Tried out my newly restored Straight Razor today. Went really well!
