What Manly Things Did You Do Today?

Wandered about Toy r Us with the wife searching for the "perfect" birthday present for my 2 year old granddaughter

 

She'll probably like the cardboard box it came in more than the gift.

 

I made a large pot of homemade Chili, for the wife. She has been bugging me to do it for a few weeks.

 

I installed a security camera at my front door in less than 10 minutes. Of course I cheated; I read the directions. Do I lose manliness points for that?

a) cussed frequently
b) hit your thumb or otherwise injured yourself
c) used the wrong tool but still got the job done

d) used duc(k|t) tape

 

I got my autistic stepson ready for his day.

The hubby has to work late tonight, so I left him a little “hello” note on his desk. The manly part is that I wrote it by burning it onto a piece of wood.

 

Did you follow the direction in a language than your own ... then it's super manly.

My day was CHEAP (AKA thrifty) .... Went to Salvation Army and bought four pairs of jeans for a total of $23.88; that's with tax. Two pairs of Levis, a pair of Canyon River Blues, and a pair of Rustlers. Maybe not manly, but I 'm happy!

Must be the hunter caveman in me.

 

I corrected my typing and left it on his desk, after all.

OK, but I still get some for using power tools.

 

Power tools always get you some extra points.

 

Today was very manly. I took out the drill, first thing in the morning. I drilled holes in some handmade wooden ornaments (to add a hanging cord) and then drilled pilot holes into the back of a picture frame, for the screw-eyes.

Later, I used the woodburner to adorn 2 olivewood butter-spreaders.

 

Hmmmmmm, ornaments and wooden butter spreader?? I guess since you used powers tools, and a wood burner, It's Manly. @Sara-s for the win. :hooray:
