I started with a Whipped Dog 'sight unseen' and a Dovo, then under the influence of all the Sith Lords of this thread, I lost my mind.
Well, you definitely went from one extreme to the other. You are now sporting some fine razors. I did like using the custom one I borrowed from you.

Inspired by @lindyhopper66 ’s beautiful Bartmann 504 from today, I had to pull out my own A little different, maybe not as smooth, but definitely got the adrenaline pumping on the ATG pass . Okay, that’s how “manly” I may have felt!!! So here was the real lineup: Bartmann 89 Manganese Steel 15/16 full hollow Enjoy your shave! Tom.
First time using this W&B Celebrated that I just got back from Glen. I don’t have a whole lot of experience with straights......but with this setup you would never know it! First of all the razor was very nice and smooth. It has very nice weight to it and it just felt great in my hand. The only razor I have to compare it to is a pretty small Rattler I believe is what it is. It is Night and day different! The La Quatriem Ville soap by Declaration Grooming performed awesome! I love the scent and glad I have something to match the Aftershave now! Chatillon Lux scents are so unique, I have 3 now and they just smell great and last all day. Leave my skin feeling nice all day also. This Wolf Whiskers TimberWolf knot is extremely soft. Maybe a bit too soft as I have come to like the Boss knot on my WildWest Brush better. But, absolutely no nicks or cuts. I look forward to many more shaves like this! Thanks for the great job @gssixgun ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Today's shave was with an Uber Sharp, Japanese Razor. I had a buttery smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. This razor bit me a couple of times. Small weepers. I think this thing might be too sharp. Any imperfections on the skin were taken off, without even feeling it. Razor- Japanese "Coral 1070", For Barbers Use. Brush- Omega Boar Soap- Arko/Sandalwood Scented Aftershave- Pinaud Clubman
5/8 James Barlow & Son Sheffield Pre 1850 Blade Fresh off the J-Nat. Had an awesome have with this razor .This razor has great balance and handles very well .Love the thumb notch. This old Sheffield Steel took a killer edge .Great Steel.
Saturday Straights' Shave Proraso Pre Shave Derby Stick JR#217 Synthetic H. Böker 5/8 CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Pinaud Clubman I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Derby Stick Shave Soap face-lathered well with the JR #217 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the H. Böker 5/8 and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Okina 翁 KJKMA This Japanese shaver is second to none. Beautiful steel and holds an edge forever. Smooth and sharp. I have two Japanese straight razors and have been keeping my eye out for another. It seems like the prices on the Japanese blades has taken a dramatic jump (?)
Tonight's shave was with an old Stubtail. I had a very smooth 2 pass shave, that left me with a DFS. Zero issues, even though I was hurried along. Razor- W.Greaves & Sons. Near Wedge, Stubtail. Brush- Omega Boar Soap- Arko/Sandalwood Scented Aftershave- Florida Water
Razor: Ern Bur 3074 Best Silver Steel Brush: Leo Frilot Disco Haze Soap: B&M Cheshire A/S: Old Spice I have a few Ern razors and this one is no slouch. Not sure a Bur razor should be in a Turban scale, but works for me since both are Ern brands. Enjoy your shave! Tom.
