Great lineup and it is Rex approved. Everybody has one of those days. At least you get another chance tomorrow.

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Personna
    Razor: Schick G4 '66' injector
    Brush: Omega 10049 boar
    Lather: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Post: Witch hazel, Fine American Blend aftershave
    WTG, touch up

Fat Friday! Terrific shave. The Fat works so well for me and I foresee it always being a member of my den. The Personna blade in the 66 is cranking right along. Smooth and comfortable all around. Can't ask for much else.

    Enjoy your Friday, everyone!

Thanks, Clint, but actually I have to go and judge some district auditions tomorrow morning until about noon. My assignment isn't a long one but there are some folks who will start judging and 9am and not be finished until about 5pm. Few breaks and kids coming in one after the other. Just part of it. I'm thankful to have a smaller assignment and hope to mind my manners so I can keep that one!

    Wolfman 0.61mm blade gap
    Feather
    Thater Beehive White Boar
    Cold River Jeff’s Soap

Inspired by @LOOT , I am going to spend some time with my OC razors. Up for the next 3 days is my Wolfman SS OC with the standard blade gap of 0.61mm. I was an early adopter and got this Wolfman before they became all the rage. I went to work on the remaining Jeff's Soap with the big boar whipping up a rich slick lather in short order. I decided to go with a traditional 3 pass shave, WTG, XTG and ATG followed by touch ups along my jawline and lower right neck. For me I find this razor has the blade feel of a Slim on 5 but is more efficient than the Slim on a 9. I didn't quite catch the baby but I sure gave the little guy a good scare. I really can't expect much better. A splash of Captain's Choice Bay Rum and I am ready for the day. I hope everyone has a great Friday.

    January 26 SOTD:

    Stirling Synthetic Brush
    Stirling Port-au-Prince SS
    CJB Pain Stick
    Stirling Unscented PSB
    Aqua Velva AS

This combination is starting to produce consistent results, as it was another one pass CCS this morning. A few shaves ago, the ring of death appeared in this soap, and u pushed all the soap from the sides back to the middle, and now it is like a never ending tub of soap. Now, I have to see how many shaves I can get out of it. I hope everyone has a great day!

I confirmed my order with James. I'm getting the .74 gap SB...and the same WRH3 handle you have here. Can't wait. I'll try and snag an OC head too.

    Great photo of great gear!

    Excellent picture, Clint.

I kind of wish I hadn't read your description of the Wolfman, now I want one. Good thing they are hard to get!

Great shave and photo, Jim. I had a tiny bit of Jeeves Turkish Bath that I pushed to the middle and flattened out. Seems like it will now last forever even though it was a really small amount. I can feel your pain!

Another wonderful picture Jim. You have got this lineup nailed down.

Thank you Jim. I was lucky enough to get my first Wolfman before they were all the rage. They have become very hard to get now.

I think you made the right choice. I am sure you'll love it. Do post the unwrapping and your initial thoughts when you first see the new razor.

You must be describing my situation with the Rte 66 Cavendish. I can see through the bottom of the puck, and maybe I'm beginning to notice this "push-to-the-middle" motion.
