    Menthol Monday ish used Doc Carvers Pillowy Lather Shaving cream with the matching balm. The cream is mentholated not the balm. Great 3 pass shave sticking with the Bakelite slant and the Voskhod combo. JR 191 created a beautiful lather.

    Really nice brush. Have never tried Spearmint TOBS although I have Peppermint Simpsons cream and it's great. The TSD Shop offers small sample tubs of a lot of different creams including about a dozen TOBS scents if you want to experiment without buying full tubs... :)

    Proraso Green
    Thayers
    Barrister’s Reserve Cool A/S

    Finishing off January with my other ‘focus’ razor, the short-handled SA. Whipped up a nice Proraso lather and loaded up a new to me blade, the Perma Sharp Super. This blade came via a trade with Keith, and it performed well today. I’ll use it for the next few days as well.
    3 passes and a bit of minor jawline touch up later and I am quite smooth. Not a true BBS but pretty close. Finished off with the excellent Cool and I have been sufficiently mentholated for a Monday.

    Thank you Jason. I needed another brush like an extra hole in my head. @Boojum1 Mark and I were texting one night and he said he had a Thater badger he was going to list on BST. Five minutes later I had a new brush on the way. Since then I have sent 2 brushes out to new homes as PIF gifts that I hope to see in future SOTD photos.
