Last Night's Shave -> 01/28/2018 GREAT SHAVE! 1. PAA Mentholated CUBE pre shave soap (this is giving Musgo Real Glyce a run for the money!) 2. PAA VLOID soap ( a tribute to Floid Amber ) 3. WHIPPED DOG 30 MM BOAR - Larry has kicked major A$$ with this brush!! At first I thought the loft was too short - but NO WAY ! the short loft just helps create the thickest and creamiest lather. Also the Boar Hair is the softest of any of my vast number of boar brush even the semogue! ( (I personally feel Semogue destroys Omega when it comes to the boar bristles).. Where does Larry get his boar knots? I highly recommend Whipped Dog boars!! as well as the siliver tip badgers - I have one of those too. GEM CONTOUR II - GREAT MILD GEM RAZOR!! also the final one ever made - I got this NOS and I still have the Case and directions. Takes a little more effort to achieve BBS - but it is so smooth and I got NO Irritation - had the PAL SUPER BLADE with the .009 on the spine - the third shave and last shave. I get 3 shaves fromany Carbon SE Blade & than I toss 'em. I get more shaves from the GEM SS PTFE - but I find them Rough and Yucky - so I hate em' 4. LUCKY Tiger Toner and Moisturizer paired terrific with the PAA Vloid aftershave/cologne... all around one of my better shaves.. happy Monday, JAMIE
PAA DOC razor Gillette Silver Blue blade WD Synthetic brush Stirling MITA SS Osage Rub/Witch Hazel /aloe M&L Florida Water Cologne w/added menthol The PAA DOC razor looks great, feels nice in the hand and doesn't shave me well at all. My normal 2 pass w/touch up turned into 4 pass w/lots of touch up which finally resulted in a somewhat dfs shave. This one goes back on the shelf. Oh well, there's always tomorrow. Now go enjoy your day folks
The wider Apollo cap on the Ikon Tech baseplate tames the Tech's aggressiveness but not as much as I expected. A less risky but still close two pass shave. Nice. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Yes, it is textured. I use it when lathering up creams. Works a treat. The bottom has nubs on it so it's almost impossible to drop even with wet hands. Plus, it wouldn't break....just make a mess. Two for a buck at Dollar Tree.
Ok, here we go for tomorrow! Tuesday morning: L'Oreal Men Expert Facial Wash Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Astra day 2 Mickey Lee Paradise Frost SS Gold Bond Moisturizer Italian Barber Amici AS Splash Is that good enough? I think it is!

Try a feather. I get some good shaves with this razor. But I don’t ever with any razor get to do just 2 passes. I’m a 4 pass kind of guy. But this razor has a sweet spot, either you get nothing but teeth, decent shave or great smooth shave.
I’m so going to look for one of these. I have a hard time with creams in my smooth stainless steel bowl or glass bowl. My lather comes out foamy and airy .
Razor - Gillette Parat Blade - personna Red (1) Brush - jayaruh no88 Soap - Arko A/S - The VEG Awesome shave today, the razor and blade just worked like magic. I’m bbs smooth without much effort.
I had that same issue using the old VDH starter bowl that I got years ago. Just seemed like I was chasing the soap around with the brush instead of loading it.
Doing Monday Morning Right with WSP Razor - WSP "El Grande" Blade - Gillette Nacet Stainless Brush - Semogue 1348 Soap - WSP Black Amber Vanille Aftershave - WSP Black Amber Vanille Beard Balm - WSP Black Amber Vanille
