  2. Praying for your father in law, Andrew. And for your family. It's a tough road. We went down it last year with my father in law.

    Timeless Bronze OC .78mm
    Astra (2)
Stirling Sandalwood shave soap and A/S
    Bergamot Lavender shower soap

The Bronze baseplate hit my den this morning, so I took it for a drive. I'm gonna like it...a lot! The teeth are different from my Timeless OC .95 with a radius'd profile as apposed to square. I sure am glad I held on to this one as this baseplate jump starts the razor.

I enjoy Stirling's bath soaps but not a big fan of this scent. I can tolerate, and appreciate the generosity of the free sample, until it's gone. I'm glad I didn't buy the soap, although one of you wish I had! Haha. I'm learning I'm not a floral kinda guy. I prefer wood.

    Enjoy your afternoons.

  5. It was meant as a compliment and please take it that way. Your photos all have a nostalgic and vintage look and feel to them because of the lighting which I think is very cool. Celestino is the master of outdoor photos with very small depth of field. I could pick out many of his photos without seeing a name. I could do the same with many of yours because of your use of lighting.

  6. Congrats. The razor looks wonderful.

Beautiful razor. Timeless really makes some great looking razors which don't require waiting.

  7. I took it as a compliment, Clint! Over the past year, you've probably seen that I do use self-deprecating humour fairly regularly.
  8. Today's shave:
    Gillete Old Type open comb
    Astra SP
    Maggard Plissoft
    CRSW Barbeire Sapone
    Clubman Pinaud

I always get a fantastic shave from this combo. Any one got a tub of Barbeire Sapone they are looking to get rid of? Every time I shave with it, I get a little sad because it's no longer made, and I'm one step closer to it being gone forever.
  9. I do the same thing. Hence my CT.

  10. Thank you for the thoughts and prayers, Gentlemen.
  11. Thank you, gentlemen. That's the kind of high quality enabling I have come to expect from this group! With the exchange rate between the US and Canadian dollar, and free shipping for orders over $60, there is a better than average chance I will have this EdT and a couple of bath soaps inbound soon.

  12. Thanks, men. I'm a big Timeless fan. Part of that being attributed precisely to your points, Clint. Their razors are great quality and right there, on the virtual shelf. The Bronze base plate was a little high at $90....an extra $40 gets the cap and handle. I only protested for a few minutes before ordering. :)

  15. According to your shave reports this week, you're using "Gem stainless" blades in your Gem Jr. Gem only makes one version of stainless blades suitable for shaving. They happen to be coated with PTFE. Some people call them Gem PTFE and some call them Gem Stainless. Same difference. And you're already using them.
