    Hello,

I have read a couple reports that stated the L' Occitane Cade Soap will be going away :shocked003 It sounded like the soap in the beautiful aluminum bowl will be the first to go......and then the pucks of soap will be discontinued as well. :(

I know I want to get a few more pucks of this before it's gone......Just wanted to post a heads up....;)

Has anyone else heard this / or can confirm? I really need to call them....Why they are getting rid of the best mens product they have is beyond my understanding :(

    + infinity.

I could maybe understand the aluminum bowl (beautiful but expensive); but the soap itself...? :shocked003 :sad029

Please keep us posted if you learn anything...

OK, for myself, I don't really care, because even though I found to be very nice the Cade soap, it was giving me a bad dryness and irritation. Still, this soap is excellent quality, with perfect lather, and a beautiful juniper scent. If they should discontinue from L'Occitane anything, it should be the shaving cream, because it is terrible.

The reports I read was that the BOWL is being discontinued due to problems with oxidation.spotting, but the soap is continuing.

my wife just offered for me this soap again, but I said to not buy it for the price of it so expensive, and because my skin cannot accept the consequences of it. :(

This is what I read as well. In fact I read the soap refills will remain available and that a new bowl is forthcoming. I picked one of these up off of the Bay, but they are also available through Amazon as well so there is still time if you want one.

    Welcome mojjo!

The Cade cream is all over eBay for a decent price but the cream itself is not highly regarded like the soap is. I have the soap and really like it. The cream is brushless and according to some not as good as the soap. I haven't tried it, I was talked out of getting it before I threw down the $20.00 or so.

Edit: I just read the "L'occitane hyssop" part above and am not familiar with that brand although I do love hyssop in my Absinthe.

I had a shaving cream sample from L'occitane and it must be the one of the worst creams I have ever tried. The shaving soap however is completely different, it's one of the best.

Just purchased Cade soap WITH the bowl for $22 at a LO store in Illinois.

the cost of the metal bowl and soap from L'Occitane was around 45,00$ in most stores--very expensive, yes?

Yes! I got a shave soap and bowl from eBay with a styptic for less than $19.00 shipped. Deals can be had with patience.

The Whisky wasn't included, but tasted great. :D

My friend, you are very lucky--that price in Montreal is non-existant for what you found.

According to another site...supposedly cade soap and bowl are discontinued and will be gone once supplies are out.

Just ordered a few pucks just in case.
