At the last minute I decided to put aside my cherished 1950's Super Speed and shave with my cheap dollar store Junjie DE which had a Derby blade on day unknown because it's been quite some time since I last used it. The results were excellent. This OSP Grapefruit Menthol soap really delivered brilliantly on the rich, dense, icy-cold lather and the fantastic post-shave care. The Black Powder aftershave from F&C felt so cooling and it smells delightful! Have a great weekend!
SOTD February 2, 2018 Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap Blade: Schick Razor: Schick G1 injector Brush: Omega 10049 boar Lather: Mitchell's Wool Fat Post: Witch hazel, Fine American Blend aftershave WTG, touch up The Fat! Terrific shave as usual with this combination. Doesn't get much better than this for me. Have a great day!
Gorgous G1 - i have one with that Unique handle coloring made in Canda - and suddenly the damn thing does NOT hold the blade straight - so as Fuzzy said in a video - I will "take a hacksaw to it and cut it in half" as its useless - and these things are not fixable.

Thanks, Jamie! The head on this one is starting to show a little play. I'm careful with it and watch it diligently. Hasn't affected the shave yet.
Thanks. It’s a WildWest Brushworks with Boss knot. It has been great Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

02 February 2018 Another two pass, minor touch-up, BBS shave this morning. The Polsilver blades have moved into the #1 slot in my rotation. They worked well and yielded terrific, smooth shaves in the RR slant last month and the performance is the same in the Fatip. I have 100 of them on the way. So, with my meager two razor rotation, I have 6 blades to rotate through: Astra SP, Personna Red, Gillette Nacet, Gillette 7 O'Clock green, Rapira LUX and Polsilver Super Iridium. Soap: Proraso White Brush: Semogue 620 Razor: Fatip Grande Blade: Polsilver SI (6) Aftershave: Pinaud Clubman Vanilla

Oh, I just gave my Dad a great shave! Here's what I used on him: Two hot towels Omega 49 Junjie/Astra day 3 Lord Emofresh SC Tabiano AS Gel Dad really enjoyed his shave a lot and he's BBS. He found the scent of the Lord cream very nice and although he's not a menthol fan he said that this cream is cooling in a comfortable way which it is. He likes the scent and feeling of the Tabiano gel!
