The #59 really loaded well this morning(found a way to scoop up a good deal of the small amount of Rte 66 I have left).
Fuzzy get out there an dive for a Louisiana sunken swamp cypress! ! @Jayaruh is the man, my 1st brush! Peace.Jamie
Public Service Announcement: How NOT to do it. I.E. ... you need to wear something other than a suit and tie!
Lol...nope I can get plenty of limbs with no diving. Enjoy tjat brush!!! Right he has no PPE at all. He might get sawdust in his eyes....
the sinker cypress is worth its weight in gold! Amazing wood grain and the water bleeds in a lot of colors... but the dive could cost you a limb, fingers or your Johnson! Gators and snappers..
I got a veddy nice package in the mail today. My newest lather catcher handle. A shorter black one. Here is a family picture of my @Jayaruh stuff!
I guess I now own three Jayaruh brushes with the acquisition of this Cubs brush from Jim Joseph. I guess it started life as JR 244 before Jim Joseph did his thing with it. I'll add this to JR 117 and JR 133.
Adopted my 1st JR brush, #256 made its way to its new home yesterday. What a work of art! The wood grain and the carved "400 Type" handle is perfection! The knot is a "Faux Horse" - I currently have the"plissofts", the "duro knots", and the "tuxedo knots".. the Faux Horse is new to me and WOW - this knot right off the bat is my favorite of all the synths - yes after one shave!! I am a boar guy - and this knot feels like animal hair - its just like my cremo vielong horse - but with denser knot - ZERO Stank and ZERO tangles - I also got my 2nd JR LC handle and this time is a longer 3" handle - fits my hand like a glove. Thanks JR!!!! Great work and also the photos of your building process is fun and enjoyable! My best artisan brush buying experience by far. Peace - jamie
---- JR #256 !! Faux horse knot with a 400 handle - yes ! it rules!! I think i will use this for a while - my other brushes are going to take a vacation..
Everyone, I'm starting a Jayaruh Owners Club Pay-It-Forward (PIF). One of my Jayaruh brushes is #117. As you'll see from the photos below, it's a beautiful brush. It's a blue laminate with a synthetic knot. It's a smaller-sized brush, making it ideal as a travel brush. In fact, that's what I use it for. It travels really well in a mid-sized prescription drug bottle. I have to find a new home for #117 because I have some severe arthritis in my thumbs, and the size and shape of #117 makes it hard for me to use. But if your hands are ok, you'll have no issues at all. The first PM that I receive gets it. I want to keep this to the U.S. only to control the cost of shipping. Let me know.
