Evening of the second day and we're already up past 300 posts! This is going to be another month where keeping up is almost a fulltime job.

Anyway, a lot of good photos and shave reports, gentlemen. Too many for me to list individually because doing a shavette fu on this BlackBerry PlayBook takes eternity...

Great pics guys. Since this is a month of favorites the entire month will be with Williams. Mostly the newer stuff. Today started off nicely with my first night of the Bunny pass around. @twhite built a nice razor!!! I enjoyed the shave Alot!!

I’m pretty sure the Geneva convention made that illegal.

I think at some point we had also discussed turning a super soaker full of the Veg and a lighter into weponized Veg.

 

A) I am not party to it.

B) That's a good idea.

 

Use the soap you're most proficient at getting good lather with, lather means more with an open blade.

 

Bunny is actually a good razor! I enjoyed my trial vert much.

 

I will likely keep at it with the Micromatic once my year is up. I have been enjoying them (ocmm, clog pruf, and bullet tip). Last August, I pulled out my $2 OCMM that had been forgotten in a box for about 5 years and used it for a month. It lead to two and me coming to prefer the thicker SE blades and the micromatics. I really don't have any desire to use a different razor right now.

 

It is indeed. I started on the wild plate...I will use Mild tomorrow.

I've been on the green proraso for the last week but have been doing test lathers with the Copper Hat soaps and I even got the Williams to lather pretty good last night . By the end of my 30 days the proraso will probably be almost gone since it's softer and seems to drop fast in the bowl.

Starting the shavette in March . Will have my month up on Feb.23 with DE

 

The Green P is light on menthol, but it might be better to use a non-numbing soap. You want to feel the blade, especially when it tells you to STOP!
