I just received a box of goodies from Stirling. I ordered there Barbershop scent bar shampoo and it was amazing. Also in the order I got there Executive man soap, a sample puck of Barbershop and a free Almost Heaven soap. All have great smells. What shave soap should I try next? I am looking for a few samples to try.
What do you tend to like? Cologne, woodsy, citrus, fruity, earthy? Rod and Mandy offer a scent for everyone, but their line is way too big to offer much in the way of specific recommendations without knowing you preferences.
I am really not a picky guy when it comes to scents. If you had to choose what would be your number 1 go to?
Although I got a great shave from the Lea Classic cream it would have been better with a Stirling soap! Lolllll
This time of year? Ozark Mountain. A strong scent, woodsy, earthy, smoky, just intense and warm. Second choice: Hot Apple Cider. When I am working outside in the cold all day, I literally daydream about shaving with this stuff.
Sandalwood is SO good. I am almost done with a puck. It is in a shave stick right now, and I think I am gonna order a sample to feed it, like I have been doing with Barbershop. It is way too good of a soap to run out, but I probably don’t want to buy a tub of it.
The difference between Stirling and other soaps I have: Kramperts--9/10 First Canadian--8/10 Mickey Lee--8.5/10 OSP--9/10 Now Stirling--10/10 all across the board.
I'm definitely screwy because it's gonna be cold tomorrow and I'm using the Glacial Obsidian soap, balm, and Arctique!
Two hours later and I'm still feeling the menthol from my shave. The Glacial Obsidian soap and balm did quite a number on me! (so did the Arctique!)
If I didn't still have a fair number of other non-Stirling stuff I'd use the Electric Sheep tomorrow. I'll use it on Thursday!
