Hope you’re able to clear out the attic over the weekend. Douchenozzles aren’t worth the stress. (Easy to say, right?)
The loudest thing I have ever been a part of was an AC/DC concert in a roofed stadium as part of thier Black Ice tour. I didn’t bring ear plugs because I was in the nosebleed section. That was a poor decision. My ears rang for three days.
Saw Motley Crüe indoors back in the eighties. Girls, Girls, Girls tour. Felt like I had blood running out of my ears for two days.
It helps me to fantasize about how I would take revenge. I hope your weekend is fun and the bad thoughts are out of your head.
It's always nice to hear that not only are we becoming pro level shaving gurus but we're doing it in the right way. As a community. Glad we're here to help out when the world turns nuts. Now, as far as the enabling for questionable shaving decisions that goes on here.....you are free to politely say "no thank you, I am a sane person who has no wish to harm himself just to prove a point". However, it's a lot more fun to just jump off the cliff, sharp blade in one hand, razor in the other, and allow us all to enjoy your result - no matter how it turns out.
February 3, 2018 Timeless OC 0.95mm with Triad Ti Feather Thater 4125/3 Jeeves Bay Rum Krampert’s Bay Rum Overall a very good shave to start the weekend. I am really enjoying the Jeeves Bay Rum shaving soap. I appreciate this take on Bay Rum which is not overpowering with clove scent. After whipping up a nice slick lather, I went with a traditional 3 pass shave followed by touch ups along my jawline and neck finishing with a BBS. A splash of Krampert's just sealed the deal. I hope everyone has a great Saturday.
Dude... Seriously? Does this even remotely sound like something I might say? That would require good judgement, restraint and self discipline well beyond anything I’m interested in mustering up. Point me to the cliff, brother!
Thinking of this guy as an actual Douchenozzle (which really wasn’t much of a stretch) cracked me up and puts it all in perspective Jared. Genius! Three unicorns!
Thanks you Jim! "A blend of citrus, florals, Rosemary, Amber, and musk" stood out when I sniffed four new to me samples. Tallow, lanolin, and shea butter made it a good smelling & shaving lather. Thank you Randy! It was a smudged when I unwrapped it from the tissue paper. A little Mother's Finest polish brought it to a new looking shine. Hard to believe it's from the '30's. Perspective, my friend. Stepping back from the situation, getting the big view helps. It's tough when others try to lay their frustration on your shoulders. Think about the issues, accept your share of the burden, and look the other parties in the eye come Monday morning. I had no idea Nelson was so philosophical.
That shot looks great in B&W. I agree about the Jeeves. Question: What kind of staying power does the Krampert’s have? I love the Frostbite, and it has great skin care, but seems like it disappears really quickly.
I had never heard of that razor, Rick. Nice picture of it and it sounds like you’ve got some play time with it coming up. You know, I was just thinking ‘Jared needs a new brush’ ... another beaut, Jared. Sounds like a great way to start the weekend, Keith. Beautiful photo as well. Hope you have an enjoyable weekend after your M-F, Randy. Cool, simple photo that is really enhanced by being in B&W, Clint. Sounds like a great shave to start the weekend.
