I believe it was an 80s anti-narcotic psa that said ‘A mind is a terrible thing to waste’.
@Bama Samurai - Wasn’t it a few years later when Ministry came out with ‘A Mind is a terrible thing to Taste’?

I've been Slant Curious, but waited until one set itself in my path. There's a write up about Lutz slants in the database here on TSD. Apparently manufactured in Solingen, Germany in the 1930's by a company that also made SR's. They may have been warehoused until the 1960's. Currently available from a vendor on the bay. It's very light weight; Zamak or aluminum, but the plating is shiny. It's not the outrageous twisting of the blade of other Slants. The thing that caught my eye was the mild/aggressive in one unit. Not a Miracle Razor, just satisfying my curiosity.

@Paul Turner just got a laptop, the Abacus 286. It was overheating at first, but he turned off the Firewall. He should have things under Ctrl now. :)

No real staying power at all. I like the skin care much better than Captain's Choice but the scent does not hang around nearly as long.

@wchnu, my 7 year old son used up his VDH soap a week or two ago, so I had to get him some more. I figured it was time I started training him on some of this:

He says he will let me use some too.

My dad worked for IBM when I was a kid. Our first computer was just about like that.

Your dad must have a nice collection of dress shirts and ties. :)

One of my first PCs I used at work was just like this one. I was the cool kid for awhile, and everyone stopped by to see it. I carried it home to play with it when I could muster the strength. Once it was sitting on the kitchen table while our home was broken into. Our VCR and microwave were stolen, but the thief left this this lead weight right where it sat. True story (first time for everything).

That one, I believe, is a Compaq. I had the TI version of it. The TI Professional Portable.
