Is this real?

 

Not sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was real.

 

Sadly, it really could be

 

What is being simulated? And who(m) is creating the simulation? Is this the only one?

“Reality”- What we see is a type and shadow of base reality. .The Creator(God) - I doubt this is Elon Musks take exactly. Probably-somewhere between 10 & 26.

 

Is then "reality" extant only on the minds of those who understand that reality itself, might in fact, be a manipulated fiction?

 

Base reality exists regardless of preception. However, perception of reality for some may be their reality because they can not distinguish perception from reality.

 

Wouldn't that answer be entirely dependent upon the nature of the simulated reality? To say, what here is real and what is being created or simulated?


Funny how almost all children think that a monster lives under the bed or whatever. No one tells them to believe this. Do the monsters not exist or do we learn to ignore them as we age?

 

It is not dependent. In base reality something can be divided infinitely. In our physical world on a quantum level eventually sub atomic particles lose locality( cease to exist in any quantifiable way) when divided beyond 10^-35 .

The monsters are not under the bed in the way that we precieve, but may be present in a far greater way. We’re more sensitive to their presence as children.

 

Honestly, I Veer strongly toward the conceptual; even theoretical. Elon Musk’s thoughts are centered around virtual reality quickly become indistinguishable from reality. That idea spurs the question for him- if we can simulate reality to the point it is indistinguishable from reality; are we in fact someone’s simulation? I know from cognitive therapy training years ago that if you achieve a fast enough flicker rate(which we are capable of doing) in visual media; the brain believes what one is seeing is real.

I thought it’d be fun to bat the idea ,in its forms, around.

 

Reality is an illusion according to the world of quantum mechanics.

Einstein joked, 'albeit a persistent one'.

 

Very true if you consider each of us exist in a reality of our own design.

 

My last thing about monsters was serious, might there be non-digital explanations also?


1) Humains may not be the only intelligent entities capable of grand simulation or manipulation present on earth.

2) Pretty sure we don't understand the true history of our own species.

In the truest sense of physics, we can't see current reality. We can only see reality as it was when the photons left the objects we are perceiving. There is a delay...

1) I think so.
2) I also agree on the second point.
3) On the third point I believe we do lack much understanding. And to put a point on it- I think the deminsions we don’t see contain base reality and what we think of as the natural world is actually the shadow of the unseen deminsions; further , some of what we see or sense and don’t understand or dismiss( monsters) may be a glimpse from one of the other dimensions ( simulations) or base reality. To be clear I am not suggesting the L Ron Hubbard- “ Battle Field Earth- Scientology- seeded by aliens theory.

 

I believe we certainly create much of what we experience with what we speak.
