I agree with everyone else. Take them back to Walgreens for an exchange. That's weird. @jimjo1031 has a good idea too. Maybe if you call Personna first before exchanging they'll strike a deal with you to return them directly to them.

With Jeff asking about the 1909, I decided to bust him out.
I got a BBS 3 pass shave. I smell fantastic. Not my opinion, my wife said so. I am inclined to agree with her.

For the last few days I have been extolling the Virtues of the Supply SE with a V2 No3 Plate. This of course
    only takes a single blade.
Whilst I rate its performance highly, that performance is somewhat overshadowed by Todays Shave with the elegant Schick N3, fitted with a Twin Blade. I find it hard to understand how the combo is still performing
    superbly after 17 outings.

    wchnu Duck Season!

That is a first for me. I agree it is probably just a spring issue but if you bust open you got blades all over the place. Take them back is my take on it.

    Pre-Shave: Hot Shower
Brush: Brush XIV 25mm Fan Synthetic GarnerPW

When the Wife and I did our weekly grocery shopping at the local Wall-E World I found some bottles of essential oil for aromatherapy. One of the scents I got was rose. Last night I dug out my cake of Williams from the box it is packed in and added some rose EO to it. I was able to whip up a good lather with a really nice rose scent that lasted well after the shave. The GEM Push Button is coming into it's own. When I first got it I had some issues with the angle/technique around the bottom of my neck. That has all worked out now and I can get, and did get a DFS last night.

Nice shave with the Personna injector and eponymous blade. Mild razor to say the least, but quite comfortable. Good results in the end. Enjoy your day!

1914/PTFE . I'm trying a new method for my SE head shaves, one single ATG pass in the morning, another in the evening. Working very well. Mr. Buttered Toast here fits the program nicely. Sure is loud.[IMG]

Another super smooth shave with the Type D this morning. The Tabac was smooth, slick and creamy as always! Have a great day my friends!

How do you guys think we should celebrate?....

One thought, everyone could put together their Signature Kit and shave and post photos.
Or series of kits if picking one is impossible....We should stretch the celebration out....as usual....:git:

Maybe a pix of your signature kit and one of your dream kit, if you haven't acquired the parts needed for them to be he same...

If y'all don't mind, I'd like to share part of my collection. These are most of my GEM/ER type SEs, and I had a couple of pics available to share. The first pic is of my Micromatics, G-Bar, Featherweight, and PushButton, laid out in a cigar box I dressed up per instructions found on another shaving forum. The 2nd pic is my "older" SEs - some 1912s with various handles, a 1914, a 1924, and a GEM Damaskeene, in a box I plan to dress up. The GEM Damaskeene and the Ever-Ready 1924 are the two best shaving SEs that I have. I don't think either one has ever nicked me, and they seem to have that perfect balance between closeness and comfort.
    upload_2018-2-7_17-31-28.png upload_2018-2-7_17-32-16.png

I also have about a dozen or so, injector razors scattered about.

I haven't used any of my SEs in about 3-4 months. However, thumbing through the last few pages of this thread has inspired me to pull another GEM PTFE blade out of the drawer and rotate through my GEMs, for the life of the blade - should be at least 4 weeks. I'll finish up the DE blade I'm currently on and get back on the SEs this Monday.

    Thanks for the inspiration!
