I'll mention it again...nice brush! Looks like a big ol' soft face mop! The handle is very cool! VDH soap is a great performer...I should use it more often.

Glad you're feeling a little better Adam. I was blessed with the flu as well this year - I seldom ever get sick. It's not fun. Unless freezing between sleeping, and having your entire body ache is someone's idea of a good time. Somehow my wife escaped, thankfully.

I'm restoring my Dad's old brush now . Made a synthetic knot for it yesterday. I may never buy another brush again if this works out. Had a few setbacks but I'll post picks when it's done .

@Drygulch, another one is done. I thought I would get two more shaves, but whatever was left in the tin, loaded into the brush. It set up a BBS on two passes. @Bama Samurai sent me a couple of samples of this Boots Freshwood AS, and it is pretty nice. A very pleasant, woodsy scent. It all came together for a great Friday shave. I hope everyone has a great day!

Made it yes...will it work ..verdict not out yet . Had handle painted and when I was pinstriping between the two colors, the problem began . Stripped it and started over . Learning as I go
