Fainted... yup sure did... picking myself up off of the floor now. Your carvings are always spectacular. And that Palmera... just amazing!
Another mood enhancer: Here is another "Pimp Stick" I found. Razor-Wade & Butcher. Pearl Handle scales, with orange pearl wedge.
The Palmera is a serious high point in my collection, mostly because I got it from the late Bill Barber, aka Ivory Bill. He love the Palmera 14’s and made some beautiful shaving gear, and made a lot of stuff from super top grade ivory. It came to me with a mint blade and ivory scales and inlay transfer. The two Henckels in MOP are both very old. There have been some fantastic items shown in this thread. There are so many beautiful razors out there. Thanks to everyone. I truly enjoy the razor porn.
@RezDog ; you have some very beautiful razors! A superb collection for sure Thanks for providing the drool factor.
Scott @DaltonGang that was a great idea for thread. It’s has fun to see all the pimp sticks our fellow dark siders have acquired.
The Henckels scales are original Henckels scales, but not to that blade. I believe the original blade was a 73and it currently has a 472 in it.
Does this qualify as a pimp stick? Now these two I’m sure are pimp sticks! And one more on the way! Wm Schula with ivory tang Craftsman with worked spine and gold etch Landers Frary & Clark mop tang Bismarck #2 mop inlay in scales, finally found a new unused one.
