I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Old Spice Musk Shaving Cream face-lathered well with the JR #258 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Lee Mfg. 5/8 Razor and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Early morning shave using this fine Hayashi Diamond 8000 razor, plush Shave Works silvertip brush, Soap Commander's 'Optimism' (pear, plum & bergamot) soap and matching mentholated aftershave balm. Three smooth passes.

It was time for me to break out the Gold Dollar. It was a nice two pass shave.

 

Haha, that's my fault. Quick snap under poor light! It is a very shiny razor!

 

After a couple days using a DE and injector I thought I would open “the box”... I enjoy his presentation.

I wanted to try my favorite razor after a refresh on the yellow/green Thuri vs. a refresh on my white Arkie. So, one side of the face with one, then took it back a hair, refreshed again, and shaved the other side. A little smoother with the Arkie is the verdict. Of course, this being a sample size of one and all I wouldn’t put too much stock in that. However, it does show me the Arkie can deliver a fine finish to the edge of my prized Russian.

5/8 Tanifuji Three Dolls This razor produced an extremely close shave .Japanese steel never lets me down.

 

I am stalking that brush. Beautiful brush and razor!

 

Tonight's shave was with a trusted Japanese Razor. Silky smooth 2 pass shave, that left me near BBS. Love these Japanese Razors.

Excellent shave this morning. I really like Stirling's Bay Rum. I like what I call the old fashion Bay Rums heavy scented with clove etc. Think VIBR. Now Stirling isn't that heavy but it's good stuff, IMO. The brush worked out well. Face lathered as usual and it performed great straight off the soap. Have a good one.
