Very cool shot. Do you have long and short handles for your Blackbird?

 

I do have both. I called Shane to order an extra baseplate. He actually sold me the very last 100mm handle he had. He even chatted about razors a bit. He is a quality individual and turns out a quality product.

Inspired by @FaceScraper, I went for the Almond today. My fondness for this scent has just seemed to grow and grow lately. Since I have started keeping track, it has become my most often used AS, and the soap jar seems to be sitting at the front of the shelf all the time. I used to really like Cella, and when I bought a puck of this, I never touched it again. PIFfed it, actually.

I have yet to find a better 3 band silvertip for my face than Thater. Oh my gosh it is such a nice knot. I tend to prefer finest and best in my badger knots, because I like scrubby, but boy when you wants soft, this brush is right there for you.

Crazy couple weeks coming up. I am hauling my daughter around for her music scholarship auditions, and she has a couple of performances in there too, where the whole family is traveling, so it is just gonna be a scramble.

I could never decide if I liked the 70 better or the 100. They were such different shaves. Great razors, and yes, a great guy.

Thanks, Charlie. It’ll be cool. These are even schools she could make the trip to herself, and has several times, but I’m sort of just there for the moral support and stress relief.

 

Excellent gear. That hydra is both beautiful and somewhat scary looking at the same time!

You guys just gotta harp on how great the Almond is...and it's one I don't have! I gotta order some bath bars soon. I think Almond will have to make it in the basket.

Great photo and lineup. The BB is a very cool looking DE razor.

 

Instrumental. She is going into Music Ed. She plays woodwinds, but clarinet is her bread and butter.
