Another rainy messy morning which should just destroy the morning commute. At least I can get in a relaxing shave before starting the day. This WWB brush has the huge 30mm Tuxedo knot installed. This brush's appetite for eating soap rivals that of the Chubby CH2 Synthetic. In no time at all the WWB had whipped up a mountain of rich slick lather. Three passes and touch ups ended in a near perfect shave. I can say that the Feather blades provide a smoother closer shave than the modified Gem blades but are more expensive and don't last as long. A splash of Fine Platinum aftershave and I am ready for the day. I hope everyone has a great Monday.

I enjoy the writeup Neal! Nice photo of the gear too. I dig the brush - simple and effective.

    Your wife rocks, Brian!! :git:

Like the others, I had to check out the inventory first. That is a beautiful cabinet though! Congrats again on the new digs - and the new den!

Nice! I'm just happy when my wife doesn't say anything about my stuff. For her to go buy something for me to keep more stuff in is not even remotely in my future. Hope you are settling into your new place, Brian.

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Schick Proline
    Razor: RazoRock Black Hawk
Brush: Ever Ready 100T with restored badger knot
    Lather: Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill
Post: Witch hazel, TSD Iced Yin Yang aftershave
    WTG, touch up

Detour for today with Menthol Monday. My first goal for the next week is to finish off the sample of Jamestown Gentleman soap and move on to working on something else. This shave was a good one. Nice and easy. The Proline blades works well in the Hawk.

Good way to start the work week. Have a great day, everyone!

    Razor: Schick '500' Injector
    Blade: Chick
    Brush: 30DC LE/Pure Badger
    Cream: KMF fragrance-free
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

Monday morning shave with one of my favorite Injectors. A BBS with no blood, but a bit of sting from the Alum. This blade has been in there for a while, so I suspect it may have faded a bit in storage. Still, nothing to be unhappy about.

No time for photo today but I'm continuing my onslaught of the Vanilla Sandalwood. Estimate approx 60% gone. Same Blackbird...same blade...same soap. DFS.

    Happy Monday men.

Dan, love the ER 1912! Fantastic pic!
I hear that dunking the whole razor head in alchohol will prevent rusting. No first hand knowledge though.
Fuzzy, that bottle of Clubman is running precariously low!
    That is amazing, Brian!
Clint, that brush is gorgeous! Mind posting a few more pics on my show me the green thread?
    Excellent photo, Perry!
    Very nice Mark!
Breaking out The Soap Destroyer and the Toggle!! Awesome setup, Jim!
