February 2018 30 Day Rule/Focus Pix & Discussion

I seem to have about 40 pages to catch up on. Still fighting this stupid sick thing. On to my targeted soap. This was at 6.4 oz when I first weighed it in December 2016. After today’s shave, it is at 6.0 oz. I touched up the Kamisori, and got a better shave, but it’s still not there.

My Baili misadventure continues... The razor arrived today but is not the one I thought I was buying. Basically, the picture on AliExpress shows the new-style three piece while the razor that was sent was the old style. I *think* this is a case of the vendor putting up the wrong picture, though Baili seems to have a very confusing set of model numbers and designations.

I've filed a dispute, so we'll see what happens.

Had to pick my daughter up at dance class and there I was bleeding , rolled up some tp in a big ball and hauled a balllcap over top. Looked like I was smuggling toilet paper but it worked.

 

Yeah. I had a meeting shortly after my shave. Nothing says "professional" like a face dripping blood. Thank God for styptic pencils. They really work!

 

Okay - the first one is a Baili BT171, the second one is a BR171, generally sold as the Baili Victor (or Victory).

Yup. The more the better the party.

I have found the same in my Valets. I love the Feather but more often use the modified Gem.

Dipping in alcohol alone has never done it for me. I find you still have to dry the blades.

I have a back up bottle of Clubman ready!!!

To me the '14 is a much better feel. I am not a huge '24 fan. I also have a 1915 kampfe/star that is better then both to me.

Thanks! I had a feeling the ‘24 wouldn’t be the same; I just hoped since the 24s are easier to find in very good shape.

 

I have seen some nice 14's lately on the bay. I think sellers confuse them with actual LC's though when it comes to pricing.
