Well it's fun to explore the possibilities. Several more swaps to try out.

There is a chance I can get my hands on a gold one. Should I?

Which style? For me the Cooper blade diamond studded three piece is an excellent shaver, the regular blade Barbasol style one not so much.

That I’m not sure. Silver and Gold finishes if I’m not mistaken. I handled them but didn’t look at them too closely.

Received word from Chris at Razorplate that my Monobilt is done at the beauty salon and is on the way back. He also included pics:

Really nice. What are you doing for razor blades?

Modern razor blades fit it. I believe it is some 3 piece Coopers that require blade modification.

Modern blades will work in the three piece with the diamond center post, as the post will punch through the blade when tightening. Not an optimal situation but it does work.

Modern blades work just fine in the three piece without modification. I just screw the top down right and the blade flattens out just fine. A nice, mild shave.

Looks gorgeous. Chris does good work.

So how's the shave compare with, say, the NEW? Looking for a frame of reference.

That is a good comparison for me as I love both the Monobilt and the NEW LC. I’ve just received and started shaving with a NEW SC so I’m not as confident comparing it. The Monobilt and NEW LC are my two favourite vintage razors at this point. The Monobilt is somewhat aggressive, but does not appear rough in use. I think the LC is perhaps a hair less aggressive, but has the same ability to be efficient and smooth at the same time. 2 great razors.

I've got one of these type. The blade seems to warp pretty bad when trying to put one in. I have not screwed it all the way down yet for fear of marring the finish. I need to get around to unpacking the office supplies so I can use a hole punch on a blade.

Sorry I guess I'm still kind of a newb... But what are the NEW LC and SC?

Gillette's NEW open comb, with either long or short teeth.

OK so 1920-30s? I thought that was it but going through these two pages (below) did not see anything that would correspond with "LC" or "SC". How do you know if it's a Long or Short Comb? What are the differences in shaving between the two?

I will. As you know I have a few others in line before this one so it may be a while before I get around to finding those Hole Punches... Also I figure a pair of Cuticle Scissors or a Rotary Tool would work too...

Also I meant to ask if that Yaqi Head fit in the Cooper Base plate in these below? If so it looks like those teeth line up pretty well. I had heard somewhere that the Cooper handle was threaded differently than other Razor handles. I guess that is not the case If the Yaqi threaded on with no issues.
