So, when I asked my Bride to join me for the meet up, she said it reminded her of the time I drug her to "John Deere Night." Sometimes I just don't understand. It was on a Saturday night at the county fairgrounds, and we got to see -- and sit on and play with the controls on -- all the new tractors. Then we got free sandwiches and cokes. The fact that she remembers this vividly from 30 years ago means that we made a memory. Am I right?

And I've had my ham radio license for many years, and she would never would go with me to a Hamvention. I just don't understand.



At any rate, I assured her that nothing weird or nerdy would happen at the meet up. Help me out here. Are we on the same page, men?

Edited to state that her basic weaponry and hand-to-hand combat skills are top-notch as well.
