Clint, I wonder if it is set with a silicone product. Epoxies shouldn't carry an odor forward for very long, but some silicones do have a very distinctive scent for a while. If so, you should be able to yank it out and clean out the offending product. If it just won't budge, even with some persuasion, then it is probably epoxied and my advice was completely wrong...

The MS brush is a steal at $50. You would end up paying six times that for a Chubby 3. Just saying...

    And thank you, Bruce!

They do seem to be excellent for the price. I need to wait awhile, but one of those might be the next pick.

Great lineup and photo Bruce. The Fat Boy looks to be in really great shape.

Great lineup. The soap is certainly in trouble with that brush. :D

Until I got my Toggle, it was the only Gillette I had kept. The head geometry doesn't quite let me get the angle as low as I like, but it has never bitten me. Its my mindless easy shave razor. I need to get it sent out for some coating. I don't do a lot of reviews of soaps, other than on this thread. Its a classic B&M formulation. Takes a shave or two to remember how much water it needs, but once you dial it in, its thick and performs great. Aftershave is alcohol based with a good bit of menthol. B&M scents are love/ hate things. They are very complex with many layers. This one comes across as just smelling good to me. Floral and fruit notes, without smelling like perfume. Its pretty good stuff.

There he is! Happy Birthday, Logan! At what point should his 30DC Uncles start getting him shave gear for his birthday? (Asking for a friend, its not like I would actually send a 100 year old straight razor to a toddler...)

Very nice John! Can you comment on the TSD Aftershave Milk? I was going to get some Stirling Glacial unscented balm but they are sold out and your pic has me thinking of the unscented TSD milk with 2x menthol.

I’ve loved more of them than I’ve hated, but I haven’t strayed too far from their regular lineup. I would imagine that more of their ‘out there’scents are seasonal or LE releases.

I think it has been about 50/50 for me. I've had seven tubs of their soaps, and three samples. Loved Seville, really like Sinfonia and 42. Would rather bathe in the Veg and then set myself on fire than use Lavinille soap, as I think it would smell better. Some of their soaps are so so for me scentwise. The performance is always top notch for me.

Thank you, gentlemen! Andrew, I am not a great expert on aftershave splashes and balms but the TSD Milk seems pretty good to me. Soothing but unlike some balms it doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy and looking shiny.

Interesting. Love Seville, but have put Lavanille on a ‘would buy’ list after using a sample as well. Love Reserve Cool (and the base as well). Cheshire and Cologne Russe were both ‘Meh’ for me.
Bathing in Veg? Lavanille must break you out in hives or something...:scared003:
