    Indeed! Thank you!

Practice makes everything better for me. That was my left overs after a 3 pass head shave with touch ups. I've been doing the annual February Williams puck start to finish and dialing it in even better each time! That Zenith badger just takes gobs of water and soap and loves it. [IMG][IMG]

    February 16 - A week with Mitchell's Wool Fat - Day 1

    Razor - Gem MMOC
Blade - [IMG] ASR Carbon - CVS (1)
    Soap - Mitchell's Wool Fat
Brush - Wolf Whiskers Custom Silvertip
Post - Alum, The Mighty Veg

After beating Williams into submission (thanks to some Foodoo, apparently) I decided to take the next 7 days of my Rule and use Mitchell's Wool Fat. One of my all time favorite soaps and still (tenuously) holding onto the number one ranking in my world. I'm feeling better today, spent an extra long day babysitting a store other than mine today (late close due to holiday weekend) and I was ready to get a great shave on. It's Fatboy Friday but......I'm on a rule, so the OCMM stays in play. Yeah, I probably have it down well enough to move on but a Rule is a Rule and that extra time can make a huge difference as I've discovered before.

New blade in the razor, the Wolf got the Mitchell's worked up good after a long soak for both soap and brush, though I shook the brush drier than with Williams. Two passes and just a bit of touch up on the neck and the baby is in the house, put to bed, sleeping soundly. Alum was slightly warm in a couple of spots but nothing to worry about. Such a classically great shave that I had to add just a touch of the Veg to end it. The wife loves it anyway so it's a special treat for the evening.

Hope you have fantastic weekend plans! I'll be selling mattresses - I hope. Lots of them - I hope.

    Cold water shave

    New Weishi 9306
    Personna Lab Blue (1)
    Pre/First pass with barber cream
Second pass and touch up with foam.
Cold water rinses between passes and final rinse.
    Razorock Alum block
    Witch hazel splash x2
    Pinaud AS splash x2

Excellent shave , Weishi is a nice mild shave like my FTSS . I like the longer handle. Also got some new gear for Valentine's Day , Barbicide jar and razor/ brush stand .

With less than a days growth I opted for the mild but effective Treet.
I never know what to call this razor, at first glance it looks like a 1912 but on further inspection the safety bar looks more like a Clog Pruf.
I find it a milder shave than both the 1912 and the Clog Pruf.
If anyone knows what Treet called this model I'd love to know.
    Have a great weekend everyone.

Gem Micromatic Clog-Pruf with a Gem SS Blade

Not a lot of time for shaving related fun this weekend I am afraid. Chrissie (my partner) has her first dressage event of the year tomorrow. The Horse lorry was picked up this morning after an MOT and much of today will be spent refilling it with all her 'essentials'. and preparing the horse for tomorrow.

3 passes for an uncomplicated super smooth shave:)

    Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Great early morning shave and the 6th with the Mamba/KAI combo. Everyone have been smooth, comfortable and efficient requiring 2.5 to 3 passes for every shave (very minor buffing on 2-3 of those). I didn’t think I would like it as I purchased it only to compare it to the Gamechanger prototype I used in a pass around. Wrong. Completely. This is a very good razor that has surprised me at every turn. Have a great day and shaves Gents...:happy088:

I swear that this 1950's Super Speed is my best shaving friend - what a BBS job it did for me with the help of the Astra blade on its fifth day. My face is still partially numb from the menthol bombardment it got from the Glacial MITA soap, the Glacial Unscented balm and the Alcolado Glacial menthol splash. Not even my barber could have given me a better shave than this - that's how good it was after THREE passes!

    Have a great Saturday!

A scent-sational two pass, minor touch-up, BBS shave this morning. My latest olfactory "crush" is anything oud. The RR Tuscan Oud has the strongest scent of any soap I've tried to date. And paired with the oud dominate RR Stallion AS splash, I'll be leaving a vapor trail every where I go today. (luckily, I'm retired and will annoy just the dogs. SWMBO like it)

A cautionary note to those of you who work in an office with close contact with others: You run the risk of alienating those who are scent sensitive. It's that strong.

    Soap: RazoRock Tuscan Oud
    Brush: Omega 10086
    Razor: Fatip Grande
    Blade: Wizamet Iridium Super (3)
    Aftershave: RazoRock "The Stallion"
